Earlier, Motorola dropped hints with a teaser showcasing a phone boasting a curved display, a signature feature of Edge smartphones. This device also sported the same color on the rear panel as today's teaser. Confirming it to be another addition to the Edge lineup, the previous teaser proclaimed, "Unleash the New Edge."
Edge Phone Speculation:
Initially thought to be the Edge 50 Pro due to leaks last week, this enigmatic Edge phone has now been linked to newer leaks suggesting it might be the Edge 50 Fusion. The text accompanying the graphic from Motorola hints at this, stating, "Witness the fusion of art and intelligence," indicating the unveiling of the Edge 50 Fusion on April 3. However, the possible appearance of the Edge 50 Pro at the launch event remains uncertain.
Other reports suggest the Edge 50 Fusion will run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, while the Edge 50 Pro will boast the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This implies either the leaks are inaccurate or there might be a third Edge phone unveiled, not previously disclosed.
