The Evolution of iPhone Screen Size

Apple iPhone is most unique and elegant brand in mobile world. Apple first gen iPhone release on 29th June 2007 and its come with 3.5 inch display. 1st gen iPhone display technology is TFT capacitive touchscreen and Resolution was 320 x 480 pixels (~165 ppi pixel density). Apple iPhone 3, 3GS, 4 and 4S inches are same display size but touchscreen technology is different in 4S LED-backlit IPS LCD and 640 x 960 pixels (~330 ppi pixel density) Resolution.

After 5 years of successful apple iPhone increase the display size 3.5 inch to 4.0 inch in iPhone 5. iPhone 5, 5C, 5S have same display size but screen resolution is 1136 × 640 px at 326 ppi. Apple release iPhone SE in March 2016 with latest technology like fingerprint, Apple Pay but same 4.0 inch display.

Recently Apple release iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It’s most advanced Apple iPhone in the market. Now apple release two different display size mobile one is 4.7 inches and second 5.5 inches. Last Year iPhone 6 come with 4.7 inch, in same size series is 6, 6S and 7 and iPhone 6 Plus come with 5.5 inch, in same size series is 6 Plus, 6S Plus and 7 Plus.
